Classrooms of the Future
The event featured five types of classroom environments, each aimed at a different age group: kindergarten, primary school, secondary school, higher education, and lifelong learning. Each space was a testament to the boundless possibilities of technology and innovation in education and training.
Education of Tomorrow with FuturED
FuturED, the event’s main attraction, took attendees on a journey through the future of education. It was an immersive experience that allowed us to engage with virtual reality, discover the new era of distance learning, and interact with innovative installations. The future of education, it seems, is not as distant as we might think.
Experiencing the Education of the Future
The event offered a variety of experiences that catered to everyone’s interests. From coding a robot ball to navigate a course, practicing multiplication tables underwater (while staying dry), to preparing for a speaking assignment in Virtual Reality - there was something for everyone.
Showcasing Technology for Educational Practice
KU Leuven Kulak and VIVES University College demonstrated their expertise and knowledge in educational technology through interactive experiences. They showcased how this technology is currently used in education and what it could mean for the wider public. Topics such as Augmented Reality in education, digital exercises, and hyflex spaces were among the highlights.

Visitors were immersed in an intense digital learning experience, providing a taste of what digital applications in the future of education could entail. It was a unique opportunity to see firsthand how technology is transforming the way we learn and teach.
